Before THREADX kicked off this past February in San Diego, many of us arrived a day earlier, eager for what the days ahead would bring. Aside from the welcome reception and dinner scheduled for later that day, a select few of us were able to attend a personalized bonus workshop featuring the one and only Aaron Draplin. After a brief conversation with our event emcee and fan favorite riCardo crespo, he introduced Aaron, telling us we would love this guy and that he was about to drop some serious “knowledge bombs” on us. Needless to say, riCardo nailed it.

The Talk of the Trade Show

A trade show represents one of the more significant marketing opportunities for a company to make a big, yet intimate, splash in front of prospective customers. When designed and constructed properly, a booth can capture attention, create an interactive experience that immerses a visitor, produce memories that last beyond the show, and hopefully create new business.

Live Activation Leaders Weigh in on Growing Trend

It was a cool, brisk morning in San Diego. Navy ships were heading into the bay as apparel decorators from all over the country congregated in a meeting room at the Kona Kai Resort during THREADX 19. There was a great energy in the room as I walked onto the stage to moderate a panel with Tim Williams (YR Store), Max Hellmann (Family Industries) and Justin Moore (LivePrinting.com). These guys are the titans of live printing activations, working for the biggest brands in the world.
